I've discouraged them from visiting Neverwinter thus far, but they'll be at the end of LMOP soon and I'd like to allow them some downtime there before their next adventure, and to allow its use as another hub in addition to Phandelver. I've also found the sword coast adventurers guide, which looks good, if a little broad and high level. Now, I could make it all up of course, but I bought a premade adventure to try to avoid too much homebrewing (I don't know how you homebrew DMs do it - much respect).Īre there any good pre-created Neverwinter resources out there? I've found the 4th edition Neverwinter guide, but it's stupid expensive on Amazon and I've read it's a very different place between 4th and 5th editions. Outlining Neverwinter’s history, key characters, primary locations (including its floating ‘earthmotes’ and the mage-sanctum-turned-tavern. A Dungeon Master’s Guide to Neverwinter by Jacob Johnston reintroduces the city to D&D 5E through a bundle of lore explainers and DM material. Not a word is mentioned about Neverwinter in the LMOP book, except insofar as how other places relate to it. One D&D fan’s free homebrew sourcebook changes that. The wizard in particular wants to go to the temple of Omagh in Neverwinter and conscript the help of the priests there. Thing is, the premade characters have all sorts of flavor that have no back up for the DM. So, my LMOP campaign went on hiatus for a while, but is now back up and running.
